Nat’s hair loss issues: Female Pattern Balnding and Telogen Effluvium

Nat, a young Asian woman in her mid-20s, came to us troubled by her thinning hair. Diagnosed with both female pattern hair loss and telogen effluvium (TE), she had lost around 30% of her hair density. Although her scalp was healthy, the combined impact of these two conditions had left her hair looking thin and lacking volume. Nat wanted to find a solution to address the issue before it progressed further and affected her overall appearance and confidence.

Nat’s hair loss transformation

Nat’s hair loss treatment plan

For Nat, we designed a 12-month treatment program using 15% Vitastim and 15% Biostim, applied twice daily. This treatment structure was chosen to target the root causes of both conditions, stimulate hair regrowth, and prevent further density loss. By focusing on both follicle health and overall scalp stimulation, the goal was to restore her hair’s volume and vitality.

Nat’s outcome

After a year of consistent treatment, Nat experienced a noticeable transformation. Her hair density increased significantly, filling in the thinning areas and giving her hair a fuller, healthier appearance. Nat’s success story is a testament to the power of early intervention and a dedicated treatment approach in addressing complex hair loss conditions.

“Nat’s case required a nuanced approach due to the dual nature of her hair loss. Using a targeted plan, we managed to halt the progression and restore her hair density, bringing back her confidence and beautiful hair.”

Female Pattern Balding, what Is It?

Female Pattern Balding (FPB), also known as Androgenetic Alopecia in women, is a hereditary condition characterised by gradually thinning hair on the scalp. Unlike male pattern baldness, which typically presents as a receding hairline, FPB generally causes diffuse thinning across the top of the scalp, sparing the frontal hairline.
