Helen’s treatment plan

To treat the condition, we put helen on a twice daily treatment routine that included 20% Vitastim and 20% Biostim. We also treated with a follicle builder every other day until Helen’s hair had fully recovered.

Female Pattern Balding, what Is It?

Female Pattern Balding (FPB), also known as Androgenetic Alopecia in women, is a hereditary condition characterised by gradually thinning hair on the scalp. Unlike male pattern baldness, which typically presents as a receding hairline, FPB generally causes diffuse thinning across the top of the scalp, sparing the frontal hairline.

What is Telogen Effluvium?

Telogen Effluvium occurs when the hair’s growing phase is interrupted prematurely, causing the hair follicles to enter the telogen (resting) phase of the hair cycle earlier than expected. Following the regular cyclic pattern, diffuse shedding of the hair begins two to four months later.
