Anna’s Hair Loss Story: Female Pattern Balding and Telogen Effluvium
Anna’s Menopausal Hair Loss Issues: Female Pattern Balding and Telogen Effluvium
Anna was in her mid-50s when she came to us with showing menopausal symptoms of hair loss, which included Telogen effluvium and female pattern hair loss and a reduced 50% hair density.
“Anna’s story is a perfect example of how Telogen Effluvium, though distressing, can be successfully treated with the right approach. By identifying the cause and providing targeted treatments, we helped restore her hair’s strength and density. With patience and expert care, recovery is absolutely possible.”
Anna’s Hair Loss Treatment Plan
To treat the condition, we put Anna on a twice daily treatment routine that included 20% Vitastim and 20% Biostim. We also treated with a follicle builder every other day until Anna’s hair had fully recovered.

Anna’s Outcome
Anna’s hair made a remarkable recovery, with visible regrowth and restored density. By addressing the root cause of her Telogen Effluvium and following a targeted treatment plan, she has regained thicker, healthier hair. Her journey proves that with expert care and patience, hair recovery is absolutely achievable.
What is Telogen Effluvium?
Telogen Effluvium occurs when the hair’s growing phase is interrupted prematurely, causing the hair follicles to enter the telogen (resting) phase of the hair cycle earlier than expected. Following the regular cyclic pattern, diffuse shedding of the hair begins two to four months later.
Female Pattern Balding, what Is It?
Female Pattern Balding (FPB), also known as Androgenetic Alopecia in women, is a hereditary condition characterised by gradually thinning hair on the scalp. Unlike male pattern baldness, which typically presents as a receding hairline, FPB generally causes diffuse thinning across the top of the scalp, sparing the frontal hairline.
