Female Pattern Hair Loss and Telogen Effluvium Recovery: Angie’s Story

In 12 months, we reversed Angie's Female Pattern Balding and Telogen Effluvium (TE) issues. With her tailored treatment plan, Angie simultaneously regained hair thickness and renewed her confidence.

Angie’s hair loss issues: Female Pattern Balding and Telogen Effluvium

Angie, a young Asian woman in her mid-20s, approached us deeply worried about her rapidly thinning hair. Diagnosed with both female pattern hair loss and telogen effluvium (TE), she experienced a 40% reduction in hair density. Telogen effluvium, often triggered by physical or emotional stress, compounded her already thinning hair, making the situation overwhelming. Although her scalp remained healthy, these conditions’ combined impact affected Angie’s overall appearance and self-esteem.

Angie’s treatment plan

We devised a 12-month treatment plan using 15% Vitastim and 15% Biostim, applied twice daily. The goal was to address the underlying causes of both conditions by boosting hair growth, reducing shedding, and restoring overall hair density.

“Angie’s journey shows how impactful early treatment can be, especially when dealing with dual conditions like Telogen Effluvium and female pattern hair loss. The results were a stunning transformation and a return to healthy, beautiful hair.”

Angie’s outcome

After a year of consistent treatment, Angie’s hair density improved dramatically. The shedding reduced significantly, and her hair returned to its healthy thickness and vitality. Angie’s success story is a testament to the effectiveness of a focused treatment plan and early intervention.

Female Pattern Balding, what Is It?

Female Pattern Balding (FPB), also known as Androgenetic Alopecia in women, is a hereditary condition characterised by gradually thinning hair on the scalp. Unlike male pattern baldness, which typically presents as a receding hairline, FPB generally causes diffuse thinning across the top of the scalp, sparing the frontal hairline.

What is Telogen Effluvium?

Telogen Effluvium occurs when the hair’s growing phase is interrupted prematurely, causing the hair follicles to enter the telogen (resting) phase of the hair cycle earlier than expected. Following the regular cyclic pattern, diffuse shedding of the hair begins two to four months later.
