Nadia’s Story: Female Pattern Hair Loss and Telogen Effluvium Recovery

We helped Nadia reverse significant hair loss caused by a combination of female pattern balding and Telogen Effluvium (TE). With a tailored and intensive treatment plan, she regained her hair’s thickness and renewed her self-confidence.

Nadia’s hair loss issues: female pattern balding and telogen effluvium

Nadia, a woman in her mid-30s, came to us deeply troubled by her rapidly thinning hair. Diagnosed with female pattern hair loss alongside telogen effluvium (TE), she experienced an estimated 50% reduction in hair density, leaving her hair noticeably thin and fragile. Although her scalp was healthy, the stress-induced shedding and genetic thinning affected her self-esteem and overall appearance, making her eager to find an effective solution.

Nadia’s hair loss transformation

Nadia’s hair loss treatment plan

We developed a 12-month intensive treatment plan using 20% Vitastim and 20% Biostim, applied twice daily in the morning and evening. In addition, we incorporated the Puls Follicle Builder Treatment three times a week to further enhance follicle stimulation and promote new growth. This robust plan was designed to tackle the dual impact of TE and female pattern hair loss, stopping excessive shedding, stimulating hair follicles, and restoring density.

“Nadia’s case was complex, but with a comprehensive treatment plan, we were able to address both conditions effectively. Seeing her regain 50% density and her self-confidence has been incredibly rewarding.”

Nadia’s outcome

After a year of consistent treatment, Nadia experienced a dramatic turnaround. The excessive shedding stopped, and her hair density increased significantly, filling in the thinning areas and restoring her hair’s natural volume and vitality. Nadia was thrilled with her results, feeling more like herself again and gaining confidence in her appearance.

What is Telogen Effluvium?

Telogen Effluvium occurs when the hair’s growing phase is interrupted prematurely, causing the hair follicles to enter the telogen (resting) phase of the hair cycle earlier than expected. Following the regular cyclic pattern, diffuse shedding of the hair begins two to four months later.

Female Pattern Balding, what Is It?

Female Pattern Balding (FPB), also known as Androgenetic Alopecia in women, is a hereditary condition characterised by gradually thinning hair on the scalp. Unlike male pattern baldness, which typically presents as a receding hairline, FPB generally causes diffuse thinning across the top of the scalp, sparing the frontal hairline.
